not in the COm object we always specify port 4840

but we noticed that using the VPN the connection remains on the 4840

while if we go directly to the public ip the port changes to 4843

Hello,
I do not understand your post, there is not enough info in it.

You need to explain the parts involved and who connects to whom and how. An equivalent of box diagram, in words - if there is no box diagram.

We are tryng two type of connections

by OpenVPN, connection is ok and log say that I'm using port 4840

2#
directly to public ip, in this case log say that I'm using port 4840 but after swtch on 4843, possible?
