End User License Agreement (EULA)
This Windows installer is identical for both free trial, and commercial editions. The free trial provides valid data for 30 minutes; after that period, the component needs to be re-started. We can provide you with evaluation license that will relax or lift the limitations of the trial license, if you need it for verification that the product is right for you. In such case, please contact us and explain your situation.
QuickOPC, OPC Wizard and Rapid Tookit for Sparkplug are also available in NuGet and Python package distribution formats. Use NuGet for .NET 8+ development, on Linux or macOS, and also for reliable dependency management and build automation (note that the NuGet packages come without accompanying tools, IDE integration etc.).
You can also start directly with Connectivity Software QuickOPC Examples, OPC Wizard Examples, or Rapid Toolkit for Sparkplug Examples. The examples can be downloaded in ZIP and TGZ archive formats, and are also available on OPC Labs GitHub. For development in Python, see QuickOPC Python Examples. The code references the QuickOPC NuGet or Python packages which, with most tools, then get downloaded and installed automatically.
Included Software
OPC "Classic" simulation server, runnnig as Windows Service, used in the examples, is installed as part of the QuickOPC setup. You can bypass this by selecting custom installation and turning the corresponding component(s) off. The Connectivity Software setup program does not install any additional software to the target system.
