Functionally, there are doing precisely the same thing. Moving them around was needed for design reasons, and the obsolete ones will disappear in some future version.

1. First of all, I see you have marked most all of the parameters they are using as obsolete and prefer to use the SharedParameters.<appropriate parameter> instead. Is there any downside of using the obsolete parameters?
