There are multiple examples shipped with the product that show how OPC subscription are programmed with QuickOPC.

To open the solution with VB.NET examples, locate QuickOPC in the Start menu, and select Examples (Source Code) -> Visual Basic Examples. To open the solution with C# examples, locate QuickOPC in the Start menu, and select Examples (Source Code) -> Visual C# Examples.

There are many example projects in each solution, and the OPC subscriptions are used in several of them, e.g.:
  • Console/ConsoleDataTypes
  • Console/DocExamples (multiple examples in there; search for SubscribeItem or SubscribeMultipleItems)
  • Console/LogAsStringSql
  • Console/LogAsUnionToSql
  • Console/LogToSqlEnhanced
  • Console/SimpleLogToSql
  • Console/SubscribeFromXml
  • Console/XmlLogger
  • Windows Forms/EasyOpcNetDemo
  • Windows Forms/SubscribeToMany
