I think you approach is right. Log the exceptions messages, also together with the other information available (such as error number). If you are subscribing, the same logging logic can be applied as well to the Exception property in the incoming notifications.

I have completed the integration of easyopc into my app and am able to communicate with the Siemens plc. I'm now giving some thought to the facilities I should provide to assist in fault finding in the event of comms problems when the app is in use. Other than logging the read / write exception messages that are generated, is there anything specific you think should be included?
