Hello.
I will have quite a lot of question to this first, sorry.

1. Is the operating system 32-bit or 64-bit?

2. If the OS is 64-bit, is your application built to AnyCPU, x86 or x64?

3. Do you set EnableNativeClient to false?

4. Is the problem only with browsing items? Have you tried reading etc.?

5. Have you tried other OPC clients? Which? Do they work?

6. Does it happen only on one computer with this server, or more, or you do not know?

7. How was the ProgID (Intellution.IntellutionGatewayOPCServer) obtained? Using QuickOPC browsing dialog as well?

8. Can you post here the CLSID of the server? (should be visible in the Browse Servers dialog or similar) - looks like {..............................}. (the idea is then to try with CLSID directly, will provide more details later)

9. Is there a way to obtain the demo of the server?

10. Which version of Intellution OPC gateway is it?

Hi,
I am getting this error message when browsing for OPC DA items. The OPC server is Intellution OPC Gateway.

Any idea what may cause this error?
