Should we include the Opc.Ua.CertificateGenerator.exe file in our setup?

Hello.
The answer is: Normally no, you should not include it. In fact, doing so may cause problems, because if a wrong version is incldued, QuickOPC may fail.

There are situations under which including the certificate generator EXE may be needed - this usually is when there is a problem with the "boxing" library, and the librarye needs to be turned off - as described on kb.opclabs.com/How_to_disable_prerequisites_boxing . But this is not your/the customer case (at least we have not determined that).

I will reply to your other post with the certificate generator-related error later, separately.

Best regards

Hi,

Should we include the Opc.Ua.CertificateGenerator.exe file in the same folder where our EXE file is? If yes, should we include other file that can be found in

C:\Program Files (x86)\OPC Labs QuickOPC 2021.1\Bonus\Opc.Ua.ConfigurationTool ?

Thank you.

Michael
