Is it possible to browse OPC items in Excel?

Hello,

I think there are three parts to this answer:

1) Excel Option, as such, has no feature for OPC browsing (from inside Excel). Excel Option is strictly for data subscriptions, reads, and with some limitations, writes.

2) It is possible to write code in VBA in Excel, and use QuickOPC COM interface to perform all OPC operations, including browsing. This, by itself, does not show any user interface for the browsing, if that's what you are after.

3) It *should* be also possible to also invoke QuickOPC browsing dialogs from VBA code in Excel, as from any VBA/VB6 code. We have not tested this.

Best regards
