License install - runtime or development?

More

Hello.

Installing the license key on the runtime computers using the License Manager (possibly invoked from the QuickOPC Setup program) is one of the correct ways to install the license key.

There are other ways, too: see opclabs.doc-that.com/files/onlinedocs/QuickOpc/Latest/User%2.../webframe.html#Licensing3.html .

If you have a VB.NET (not VB6) application, one of the options is to embed the license key in your application; the advantage is then that no additional steps are needed on the target computer.

Best regards

Subject: Re: OPC Labs Contact Form - Quick OPC UA

Afternoon Zbynek,

My company has purchased quick OPC professional single developer. I have installed the license key on the runtime computers through the quickOPC application is this the correct way to do this or is it better to install any license within the deployed vb code?

Thanks,
L.
