Pre-products are, essentially, toolkits for internal use in our company. They contain source code, documentation, and guidance, that allows them be used and re-used in multiple software products.
It is necessary to apply additional effort to turn pre-products into useful products, but that does not mean they are incomplete. Quite the contrary: The toolkits have been proven to work well in existing tools and application, and as such are available and suitable for integration in different scenarios.
